emagin get 1.12 million dollar to optimize 1920×1200 pixel OLED microdisplay

emagin get 1.12 million dollar from US Special Operations Command USSOCOM to make emagins 1920×1200 pixel OLED microdisplay ready for mass production. Emagin has a prototype of that high resolution OLED microdisplay and the get also a six month option to extend the project for 435.000 dollars. The prototype has a 10.000:1 contrast ratio and the power consumption is less than 350 mw. For a few weeks Microoled introduced a microdisplay with 1280×960 pixels on 0,61 inch. Now Emagin strike back and want to introduce a high pixel density Microdisplay soon.
