IM3OLED project EU and Russia working on OLED lighting software
IM3OLED means Integrated Multidisplinary & Multiscale Modeling for OLEDS and is a new OLED lighting project from the european union and Russia. The goal is to develop a software for multiscale OLED lighting modeling.
With this tool the R&D process will be more systematic and will accelerate efficient OLED design development.
This software will design OLEDs in 3D and at all length scales from molecular to large area devices.
To achieve our objectives, the IM³OLED project combines partners from Europe and the Russian Federation including OLED manufacturer Philips and research institute Holst Centre, strong modeling partners Fluxim, Kintech Laboratoy, and leading university groups on the topic of computational physics and multi-scale modeling at the atomistic and molecular length scales (ZHAW, PCC-RAS and MEPhI). The participation of OLED Lighting manufacturer Philips and the two SME software engineering companies Kintech Laboratory (RU) and Fluxim (EU) ensures a rapid development and introduction of the developed technologies.
