LG chairman claim to introduce OLED-Tvs and flexible OLEDs earlier than scheduled

At the CES-2012 LG Electronics showcased a 55 inch OLED-TV 55EM9600 with WOLED technology. At a research and development conference in Daejon Koo Bon-moo requested to introduce OLED-Tv earlier than scheduled. Ko Bon Moo spoke also with LG Display to speed up the development of flexible plastic based OLED panels and to commercialize them at an earlier date.

The reason can be that Samsung Mobile Display confirmed that the company start with the mass production of flexible AMOLED Displays in 2012.Samsung also files some special patents for new products with flexible displays and showcase some nice design concepts. Samsung also has the plan to introduce a 55 inch OLED-Tv earlier than LG.
